No sales pitching. No hype. All great content on how to navigate today's executive job market. This information is also appropriate for non-executives, so everyone is welcome.

In the video above, Tammy Kabell with Career Resume Consulting explains how to use neurolinguistic programming to "talk yourself into winning the interview" through the use of subtle changes in how you ask questions.

Called "future pacing," this NLP trick of persuasion has the interviewer picturing you in their company and already working with them. Pick up your own copy of our shiny-new 10-Point Video Interviewing Checklist.

So instead of asking what the person who gets this position will need to do (or something similar), make the question personal and ask, "If I were to take on this role in the next few weeks, what would be the first thing, in your opinion, that I should do on day one?"

When you ask 3-5 questions during an hour's interview, you will have them picturing you so often that it's an easy choice to get you to start working there.

If you're in a current job search and trying to navigate the 2021 job market, you need to be aware of the huge hiring increase we are seeing here at Career Resume Consulting. In fact, during a month that historically has been the slowest month of the year, August, we had nearly 25% of our entire client base land new positions, with an average compensation increase of 53.8%. Tammy expects this hiring wave to continue into 2021.

We here at Career Resume Consulting are seeing a record amount of job creation in 2021, which is the exact opposite you hear on the nightly news.
