Preparing for your Next Interview

PREPARING FOR YOUR NEXT INTERVIEW
Today I'd like to give you access to a video I recently made about how to prepare for your next interview. Whether you have an interview coming up that is actually scheduled, or if you just want general information about best practices once you do get an interview, this video is definitely worth checking out. This will be applicable to any phone or face to face interview you might have.

GIVE YOURSELF AN EDGE ABOVE YOUR COMPETITION
It's important to do as much research on the person that will be interviewing you as it is to research the company you're interviewing with. Most people just read the website of the company and call themselves prepared, but there are other things you can be doing to give yourself an edge above the competition. Specifically, there are three things to research on the company, and three resources to research the person you're going to talk with.

GET YOURSELF HIRED FASTER
The reason to do as much research on the interviewer as the company is simple - it helps you find commonality with the person and build rapport. This covers two of my main tenets of hiring:

1. It's a combination of likability and relevancy that will get you the job.

2. People hire people that they like over people that are more qualified.

So click on the video to watch the full video. Be sure to take notes, as I cover these strategies quickly.
